1921 German Weimar Republic Berlin Emergency Currency 50 German Pfennigs

Origin: Berlin 1921.
State: Unissued, like new.

Random 1921 Funfzig Pfennige note.
Printed in Germany after the first world war.
Each city, district, club or whoever had a printing press started printing it's own NOTGELD or emergency money.

These Berlin variants, made for/in the city of Berlin where used to pay for groceries, government bills as well as a public transport tickets.

These papers are unissued, in museum like new state. (UNC)

Early democratic german currency the Weimar Republic lived from 1919 till 1933 when moustache took over.
These currency (NOTGELD/Emergency Currency) caused the hyperinflation within few years.

We also have some hyperinflation Reichsmark in stock.
